Bold Trees

Artist Bio
Victoria is a multimedia artist. Her primary medium is beadwork, and her love of texture and patterns found her jewelry can be seen in her painting, “Bold Trees”. The white-brushed burlap evokes the first frost that signals winter as autumn takes its leave. The viewer is swept into a crisp morning before the rise of the sun, the bold trees standing against the still backdrop replicating the peace and serenity of a solitary morning. The repeating pattern of colors of the trees remind us that winter is just one part of an entire cycle, another step in the yearly pattern of growth, abundance, harvest and rest.
