CRC CEU Information

For November 5 – November 7

• Attendees are eligible for up to 11.5 CRC hours.

6 CRC sessions provide ethics CEUs (for a possible total of 6 credits): 

  • 1 hour – Ethics Over Optics: Protecting Inclusivity in an Anti-DEI Era – Carie Branch
  • 1 hour – Ethics, Boundaries, and Critical Life Skills – Rosanne Renauer
  • 1 hour – Beyond Survival: Ethical Advocacy and Best Practices for Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth Amid Civil Rights Crises – LaVendee Fulton, LMSW, MA
  • 1 hour – Ethical Dilemmas When Working with Persons Served – Christal Phillips, MS, JD
  • 1 hour – More Than Services: A Roundtable on Upholding Client Dignity – Todd Michael and Dessie Johnson
  • 1 hour – Supporting Job Seekers with Criminal Backgrounds – Christa Martin, MRC, CRC

The keynote presentation is eligible for 0.5 CRC CEU credits.

HOW TO EARN YOUR CRC CEUs – Digital Format

We have updated the process for you to record your attendance, so please read the following thoroughly if you wish to obtain continuing education.

At the end of each of the approved presentations:

  • You will be shown a 5-digit code and QR code at the end of each presentation
  • This 5-digit code and QR code will only be shown for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Attendance will also be monitored live by staff members. Anyone who leaves for 5 or more minutes will be marked down as absent.
  • You will need to scan the QR code on the projector screen with your phones, and youwill be redirected to a Google form. You must enter your name, email, and the provided 5-digit code in the PowerPoint. You will be directed to an evaluation.
  • You will receive a verification email of your submission
  • Certificates will be sent 1-2 weeks after the conference

A handful of paper forms and evaluations will be available for those who cannot access the digital form or do not have a cell phone. We want to ensure everyone can receive their CE hours. Please contact Katie Kinde kkinde@incompassmi.org if you anticipate you will need physical forms.

HOW TO EARN YOUR CRC CEUs – Paper Format

This is only if you cannot use the google form for the digital format.

Fill out and get signatures for 2 copies of the CRC Verification of Completion Form (front and back). These are available at the CEU table near registration. 

For each presentation, you must: 

  • Sign in and Sign out of each session with a Facilitator 
  • The keynote sessions are 0.5 CEUs each. For the Keynote presentations, check in and out at the Exhibitor Registration Table 
  • On your CRC Verification of Completion Form: you must write the title of the presentation you attended and receive a signature from a facilitator right after you sign out.  

Before you leave the conference, visit the CEU Table to: 

  • Have your 2 copies of the CEU Verification of Completion Form reviewed 
  • After reviewing, a staff member will sign both copies. You will receive one copy, and Incompass Michigan will retain a copy for our records.  

YOU MUST DO ALL OF THESE THINGS TO FULFILL THE CEU REQUIREMENTS. If you are missing one of these steps, you will not get credit for your session.  

For extra security, you may also want to take a picture of the front and back of your certificate, and send it to kkinde@incompassmi.org 

Social Work CEU – APPROVED

Attendees must sign in at the start of each session with the facilitator. Provide your SW License Number. 

Attendees must sign out at the end of each session with the facilitator.

Attendees must be present for the entire session. You will not receive credit if you arrive late or leave the session before it ends. 

Attendees must complete the SW Units Form: you must write the title of the presentation you attended, the number of credits and type of credits, then receive a signature from the facilitator at the end of the session. 

Before you leave the conference, visit the CEU Table to: 

  • Have your SW Units Form reviewed
  • After reviewing, a staff member will provide a final signature on your Form and return the form to you

YOU MUST DO ALL OF THESE THINGS TO FULFILL THE SW REQUIREMENTS. If you are missing one of these steps, you will not get credit for your session.
