Laurel Buck currently serves as the Talent Development and Acquisition Manager at Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids. In this role, she brings her love for advocacy and people into focus influencing an organizational culture centered on employee experience and growth. Laurel recently achieved her SHRM certification and transitioned into the world of human resources where she oversees all aspects of the employee life cycle, including: talent acquisition, employee on-boarding, employee engagement, professional training and holistic development. Laurel is an alumnus of Grand Valley State University where she earned an undergraduate degree in General Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a Health Administration emphasis. Laurel’s professional experience is compiled of various leadership roles impacting diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with traumatic brain injuries, adults with serve and persistent mental illness, and adults with cognitive disabilities.
