Justin Walworth is the Assistant Vice President of Resources at Peckham Inc., a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation organization that provides job training for persons with significant disabilities and other barriers to employment. Justin began his career in HR in 2005 leading Peckham’s Wellness, Safety & Workers Compensation initiatives. He has filled many other roles from Generalist, Manager, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations to his current role in HR where he works with a variety of departments and teams through difficult situations to find solutions that benefit both the people and the organization . During Justin’s tenure at Peckham, he has earned his Master’s Degree in HR, facilitates iThrive – Peckham’s Leadership development initiatives for emerging leaders, and is a graduate of the LEAD institute with the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mi. He has helped promote a positive culture and win multiple awards including the Great Place to Work Best Workplaces in 2015, When Work Works (previously Sloan Award for Workplace flexibility) each year since 2008, and Best and Brightest Elite Winner for three consecutive years just to name a few. Justin is a frequent presenter on leadership and generational differences in the work place and has presented at different national conferences. Justin is an avid cyclist, reader, and a Gen X’er who is part of the “sandwich generation” caring for both of his Gen Z children and his 75 year old Traditionalist father who lives with his family in a log cabin in the woods.
