Maureen Webster became a counselor with Michigan Rehabilitation services in 2008. Since starting with the agency she has worked on transition and general caseloads as well as past membership in the Idea Stream group, Mentoring, and the Business Resource Specialist initiative. Maureen also served as an Acting Site Manager for the Lansing District Office and a Business Relations Consultant with BND.  In 2015, Maureen also received the MRS Champion Award recognizing her contributions to the bureau and those we serve.

Maureen has collaborated with many community partners including Disability Network Capital Area and Peckham to create programming to prepare transition youth for employment. As a counselor, she assisted the Lansing District Office in receiving two $30,000 grants from the Michigan Transition Services Association to focus on preparing youth for employment and developed youth programming to increase advocacy and independence. As a Business Relations Consultant, Maureen served as the project lead for State of MI Project SEARCH and was the single point of contact for the State of MI and other businesses in the greater Lansing community.

Maureen is a graduate of Michigan State University’s Counseling program and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan In her free time, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family including her husband and two children.
